At Crestchem we have a wide range of industrial products that can be distributed across the whole of the UK.
Propylene Glycol is an important chemical with a large number of industrial applications – from food processing to polymer manufacturing, and as a heat exchange fluid.
Its natural properties allow it to easily absorb water and moisture from materials and from areas with which it is in contact.
Crestchem has long-standing expertise in supplying graded propylene glycol to suit a wide range of applications.
Availability: poly, drum, IBC, bulk road tanker
Crestchem offer a range of both technical and pharmaceutical process oils based on Gas-to-liquid technology. Process Oils are special mineral oils used to manufacture products in the chemical and technical industries, being used as either an ingredient in a manufactured product or as an aid for processing a raw material or manufactured article. We understand the importance of high quality of process oils and providing consistent quality can have a major influence on business success.
Our process oil are available in a range of pack sizes including bulk tankers, IBC’s, drums and cans.

Amines are derivatives of ammonia, wherein one or more hydrogen atoms have been replaced by a substituent such as an alkyl or aryl group. A specific type of Amine we distribute are Ethanolamines, which are made through a chemical reaction of ethylene oxide with ammonia. They are a family of chemicals that work as surfactants and emulsifying ingredients in personal care products and cleaning products. Common ethanolamines in our range include Monoethanolamine (MEA), Diethanolamine (DEA) and Triethanolamine (TEA).
Rosin is a solid resin extracted from plants and trees and consists primarily of organic acids, which are reacted with alcohols (most commonly glycerol or pentaerythritol) to produce rosin esters and hydrogenated rosin esters. These esters offer high levels of tack and resilience when added to other resin systems and the softening points of the resins are controlled. Further control on the reaction determines the acid value of the finished ester. Rosin esters vary in colour from amber to white, and offers very diverse applications, such as adhesives, the cosmetics, printing inks or road marking paints.
They are widely used as tackifiers in various applications including flooring, depilatory waxes and woodworking. Tackifiers are chemical compounds used in formulating adhesives to increase the tack, the stickiness of the surface of the adhesive. Rosin esters available for purchase also can be used in offset printing inks and varnishes, being used globally in applications including adhesives, coatings, and cosmetics.
